Dixon got to meet the man himself at Jordan Creek Mall. He loved Santa and couldn't take his eyes off of him! When we left Santa warned me that it probably wouldn't be this easy next year!! He told Santa that he wants a new big boy car seat, specifically a Britax Marathon Cowmooflauge...like mother like son!

Hey Kendra...so about the sleep situation. Every kid is different so I don't want to say this will work for you but I read, and ho-hummed about "sleep training" for a long time thinking everything would just work itself out and for us it didn't. The book I got the most from was "Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child." And it basically suggests full-blown "cry it out" which I hated the idea of but I had tried other things like checking every 5, 10 and 15 mins till she was asleep and that took way longer for her and she cried harder when I checked on her. So I suggest reading the book because it really talks about the importance of sleep and the reasons kids don't sleep well and so on. That book really convinced me something had to be done and that for most kids they don't just fix themselves. So yes I still feel guilty about it but we "let her cry" but now only 9 days later she crys for 5 mins or less and goes right to sleep. :) Let me know if you want more info.
