a lot to be thankful for

Holidays around here are always a wonderful reminder just how much we have to be thankful for. We are never at a loss for family gatherings with good food and laughter.
This Thanksgiving was no different.

First we headed off to Grandma Patty's where the big yellow house was bursting with cousins, turkey, meatballs, football, plastic bugs, and love.

This Thanksgiving was also Grandma Gayle's BIG birthday. So instead of cooking we opted for a trip to the Prarie Meadows buffet. It was delicous and a good time was had by all. Especially Grandpa Dan, who won big.

When we came back to town we went to Grandma Marge's, which was also full of love and laughther. We then made a quick stop to visit the sick Uncle Nathan.

Friday was our day off of feasting, only for 3 am shopping (more to come on that topic!).

Then Saturday we had our last Thanksgiving at Grandma Karen's. All of the cousins are getting so big, the babies will be seniors next year! Ten out of twelve were able to attend and it is always a barrell of laughs when we are together! Dixon had a blast playing with an old truck and trailer from Uncle Chad...
